The policy covers the following:
Emergency Room Assistance due to an emergency medical complaint resulting in Anaphylaxis
24/7 Teleconsultation with the purpose being diagnosis or treatment of the Lazada consumer due to Anaphylaxis. The hotline can support the consumer and direct them to the nearest hospital if necessary.
*Anaphylaxis – is a severe allergic reaction that can begin with seconds to minutes after coming in contact with the allergen that will cause;
Loss of consciousness
Shortness of breath
Trouble swallowing
Lightheadedness
Chest pain
Rapid, weak pulse
Nausea, vomiting
Only one (1) individual is covered by the Product Liability Protection and must fulfill the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 1-65 years
- Living in the same household/residence
- Must be related to the policyholder (Based on the Insurance Hierarchies)
For Single Individuals: Parents, Siblings (ages 1 to 18 years old only)
For Married: Spouse, Offspring/s (ages 1 to 18 years old only)
The following are not covered by the policy:
1. Emergency Medical availment prior to the effectivity of the policy
2. Contact Dermatitis not requiring Emergency Room treatment
3. Allergic Reaction Symptoms not requiring Emergency Room treatment
4. Allergic Reaction Symptoms due to expired products
5. Any form of accident not related to the purchased product
6. Any Medical emergency not related to the purchased product
