How can I file a claim? (Smart Protect)

To be eligible to file a claim, please make sure that your policy is activated and prepare the following details and documents:


For Damages:

1. Date of damage

2. Place of damage

3. Narration and description of damage

4. Photos of damage


For Theft or Loss


1. Date of Loss

2. Narration how the device got loss

3. Police Report


To file for a claim, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Visit https://igloocare-my.iglooinsure.com/login ( sample link)

  2. Log in with your registered mobile number or email and key in the One-Time Password (OTP).

  3. Select the policy and benefits you wish to claim.

  4. Input the required details in the claim e-form and provide a photo of the damaged mobile phone with the IMEI number.


Additional details or documents might be requested  by Etiqa to be submitted if necessary based on the result of the validation of your claim. Please also take note that the claims can only be filled and reported within 30 days from the discovery of the incident.
